Fall Recreation Gathering

We want to thank everyone who participated in and made the Fall Recreation Gathering happen!  It was wonderful to see everyone in person, network, and share stories once again.

Thank you to Champagne and Aishihik First Nations and the Village of Haines Junction for allowing us to host the recreation gathering in Haines Junction.  It was a beautiful backdrop for the gathering and everyone enjoyed seeing the amazing facilities the community has.

Thank you to everyone who presented at the recreation gathering.  Our keynote speaker, Dr. Aggie Weighill gave a wonderful talk all about Women and Girls in Sport and Recreation.  We were happy to present Joshua Wilcox and Colin Lanthier-Dubois with the RPAY Recognition Award.  We were also happy to surprise Sue Meikle with the CPRA Award of Merit. This is a wonderful accomplishment and is well deserved.

The Fall Recreation Gathering was a great chance to learn, laugh, and share with each other.  We hope to see everyone again next year!
