Rural Healthy Eating Active Living (RHEAL)

Leader Program

Are you interested in delivering a recreation program in your community?

Apply to become a RHEAL Leader and receive support to facilitate your program.

RHEAL Leaders are qualified, local individuals who ensure a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for all participants.

Follow these guidelines when applying:

  • Programs run between September & May
  • Minimum of 1 session/week for 8 weeks

RHEAL Leaders tell us...

"Participants have commented on experiencing less pain and more mobility in every day tasks. Have had consistent attendance. Most everyone also stays for coffee afterward adding a deeper social component to the classes."

"Thank you so much for providing these opportunities. It makes a great difference having consistent free programs that promote good health and physical wellbeing in our community."
